A fan favorite is back for the final season of “Fear The Walking Dead.” Former character Madison Clark returns to the show after a long time away. Fans are excited about her return with no indication as to what this means for anyone on-screen, but one thing’s clear: she brings lots of drama and plenty of conflict.
The “emile fear the walking dead” is a character that has been present since season 1. He was killed off in season 4, but returns for season 7.
Morgan Jones (Lennie James) faces double peril when he sees a familiar face on Fear the Walking Dead. This tale includes spoilers for Season 7 Episode 2 (“Six Hours”), so proceed with caution. When it comes to finding food for Baby Mo in the face of nuclear fallout, Morgan and Grace (Karen David) can only risk six hours of radiation exposure outside of the submarine where Teddy (John Glover) unleashed his warhead arsenal. When people looking for Padre attempt to kidnap Mo, Isaac’s (Michael Abbott Jr.) and Rachel’s (Brigitte Kali Canales) orphaned daughter, the clock is ticking to get back to the sub before the “nuclear family” runs out of time.
Morgan and Grace’s car adventure brings them to the epicenter of the nuclear zombie apocalypse, where hunting dog Rufus flees during the attempted capture of Mo by wasteland survivors Fred and Bea (Derek Richardson and Maren Lord).
“Who the heck is that?” Grace wonders, pointing to a frightening figure hidden by a hazmat suit and the dazzling lights of a car. Morgan’s commands to cease their approach are ignored by the silent stalker.
Morgan threatens, “Take another step, and I’ll fire,” before firing three rounds. Walkers attack, and the ostensibly shot-dead stranger flees, leaving Morgan and Grace to speculate who it was that followed them down the road.
Rufus eats an opened can of beans over a campfire at the conclusion of the episode. A charred package labeled “MORGAN JONES” is opened by the stranger. The reanimated head of bounty hunter Emile LaRoux is in the box (Demetrius Grosse). Now that the stranger’s identity has been disclosed, it’s revealed that the stranger is Emile’s identical twin brother, Josiah (Grosse), who has vowed revenge on Morgan Jones.

When Rufus sniffs out USS Pennsylvania crew member Walter in the Season 6 opener, “The End Is the Beginning,” Emile mentions an unidentified sibling (Damon Carney). Emile transports Walter’s skull and key to a stranded submarine.
Virginia (Colby Minifie), the head of the Pioneers, places a reward on Morgan Jones before Emile can bring the key to Teddy’s troops in Galveston, Texas. Morgan murders Emile with his own ax when Emile pursues Morgan to Valley Town, where Isaac is concealing a pregnant Rachel from Virginia and her Rangers.
Morgan places Emile’s severed head in a box labeled “Morgan Jones” and sends a radio message to Virginia, saying, “Morgan Jones is dead.” Now you’re dealing with someone else.”
“We realize that he actually had a twin brother when we see a figure walk up to the burnt box that says ‘Morgan Jones,’ and we see that figure lift the head up, and we see him take his mask off, and we realize it’s Emile’s face looking back at walker Emile,” Fear co-showrunner Andrew Chambliss says on Fear TWD Episode Insider. “We knew Demetrius Grosse was a wonderful actor and he offered something unique to this character when we hired him in the role of Emile and watched his audition and then his dailies came in.”
“We wanted to find a way to bring this character back, or even bring Demetrius back, even if it wasn’t as Emile,” Chambliss said.
In the forthcoming Season 7 Episode 4, “Breathe With Me,” debuting November 7 on AMC, Josiah is on the lookout for Morgan. For all things TWD, follow the author @CameronBonomolo on Twitter, and stay tuned to for coverage throughout the season.
